Open Mind Learning & Fine Arts began with a clear need we saw in our community. Many families who had recently arrived in the U.S. were navigating a new school system for the first time. Parents wanted guidance, and students needed extra academic support to feel confident and keep up.

What started as helping families adjust to a new academic environment quickly grew. Over time, we became a trusted resource not only for newcomers, but also for families seeking consistent, structured academic instruction aligned with Miami-Dade County Schools' curriculum and expectations.

Open Mind Learning & Fine Arts

Open Mind Learning & Fine Arts was founded by educators with backgrounds in psychology who have taught in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Their experience in both academics and learning science laid the foundation for our approach: structured instruction that builds foundational skills while nurturing student confidence and creativity.

Today, our team has grown into a diverse group of passionate educators, tutors, and enrichment instructors who believe that learning doesn't stop at the classroom door. From bilingual tutors who understand Miami's diverse community, to fine arts instructors who inspire creative expression, our team is united by one mission: to help every student build the skills, confidence, and love of learning needed to succeed.
